Tybalt ish so cute. :3

Kaiden welcomed the kiss, happy that everything he wanted was coming into place. He had wanted these kisses so bad, and now he could have them whenever he wanted.

He didn't break the kiss, but deepened it, taking a hand and weaving it into her hair. She had him pinned against the wall, but he used his other hand to pull her body closer to his.Thankfully Quill was too leetle to understand what was happening, so Kaiden didn't really think about it.

Of course just because he didn't get it didn't mean that Quill couldn't interrupt. He crawled back over to where his parents were and tugged playfully on Kaiden's pant leg.

When Kaiden suddenly stopped their passionate kissing, Julie followed his eyes to see what had stopped him. She burst out laughing when she saw Quill looking up at Kaiden innocently and tugging on his pant leg for attention. He was just too cute to be real. Quill, that is. "L-look how cute he is," she said in between laughs. She wasn't sure why she found it so funny, but she did.

"Way to go, Quilly," Kaiden joked, bending over to pick him up. Quill squealed and giggled, unaware of what he'd done.

"He is cute," Kaiden said, rubbing noses with his little man. "But he'd have to be with parents like his," he said with a smile.

"Kaiden, I don't want him to ever grow up," Julie said half-seriously. "He's so adorable just the way he is now."

"You know what, I don't think he should ever grow up either!" Kaiden announced. "D'jou hear that Quill? You're never allowed to get big, your Mommy said so." Quill giggled and grabbed his Mommy's hair, making Kaiden laugh.

"Ouch!" Julie exclaimed, gently pulling Quill's fist away from her hair. "Just because Mommy pulled hair when she was your age doesn't mean you get to, Quillpie." Quill responded by stuffing his fist into his mouth.

Kaiden smiled and shifted Quill so he was lying in his arms. "It's almost time for your nappy, Quillby, what do you think about that?" he cooed to the most adorable baby in all of Amelia. Quill ignored him and happily kept sucking on his five fingers.

"He'll go down if we give him a bottle first," Julie said, even though Kaiden probably already knew that. She left and went to the kitchen to warm a bottle. How do they warm things in Amelia? I guess she could use electricity to warm it up. We'll just pretend that's totally safe and normal to do. She returned with a warm bottle of formula. "Here you go, handsome," she said, placing the bottle-nipple in Quill's mouth. He grabbed the bottle and held it himself.

"Ahh! I thought we told you you weren't allowed to grow up, Quilly!" Kaiden said as he watched his son feed himself. Just last week he wouldn't have been able to do that. D:

"Actually, I changed my mind," Julie said. "He can stop growing up after he's potty trained." Quill looked up at both of them obliviously as he sucked his bottle. The emptier the bottle got, the more Quill's eyelids drooped. Julie gently took the bottle from him as he yawned and drifted to sleep.

"Potty trained? When does that happen?" Kaiden asked, walking Quill to his room at the end of the hall. He opened the door with his arm and moved to the crib where he lay down the littlest love of his life.

"About a year or so from now," Julie replied. "So he'll still be little and cute."

Kaiden thought that maybe that would be okay. As long as he was still little and giggly and fun to tickle. As soon as they left the room, Kaiden shut the door quietly behind them. Julie started walking to the living room but Kaiden took her hand and pulled her back.

He moved closer and gently put his hand behind her head and used his body to move her up against the wall. He locked eyes with her and without looking away brought his lips to hers, kissing her.

Julie was a little pleasantly surprised at first, but then she started to get into it a little bit. She brought her arms up behind him and slid her hands beneath his shirt, then ran them up and down his back. She kissed him back willingly, finding herself sort of smiling through the kiss.

Kaiden leaned closer against her so that their bodies were touching and deepened their kissing. Her kisses were magnetic, and Kaiden was never the one who pulled away first.

That meant that Julie would have to break the kiss, because otherwise they'd just be kissing forever and that would be crazy. But she waited a good long while, and when she finally did it, she did it to say, "I love you."

"I love you more," Kaiden replied with a smile. This was what life was all about, he realized. Being with the ones you loved and who loved you back.

Julie looked down, smiling shyly. She had to admit, she considered taking him into the bedroom right then and there, but at the last moment decided against it. She decided to wait for the perfect time. Their real first time hadn't been special, so she really wanted their next time to be. Especially since it would be the first time they would actually be making love. She wanted it to be nice and romantic. Now wasn't the right time.

"We should go out sometime," she said. A romantic night out might be just what they needed. "We've never really been on an actual date before."

"We should," Kaiden said. "Actually, you know what, I've got an idea," Kaiden said, grabbing her hand and taking her into the bedroom. He led her to the bed and sat her down. "You wait here," he said, kissing her quickly on the lips and leaving the room, shutting the door behind him.

Julie sat there looking and feeling confused. She almost got up to go see what Kaiden was doing, but decided against it and waited.

Kaiden ran around the house grabbing various things from random spots in the house. His arms full of things he went out the back door and onto the cement patio that was attached to the little cottage. Sand covered the pavement because their backyard opened up into a private little beach.

He pulled a table out from the corner of the patio and moved it so that it was visible from the glass door that led to the living room. They hadn't done much work to the outside of the house because they'd been too busy doing things to the inside so Kaiden had to scrub off a layer of sandy dirt off the top of the table before he lay down a table cloth.

He set two candles out and lit them before running back into the house and setting up two plates. He wasn't sure what they had to eat, but whatever it was would have to do. Looking through the primitive fridge or whatever they have in Amelia he realized that they didn't have anything even remotely fancy. They hadn't gotten around to shopping much... D:

Sighing he grabbed a bottle of grape juice and filled two glasses which he took to the table, and then he fished around in the cupboards hoping for something better than the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches he was afraid he was going to have to make.

Unfortunately, that was the best he could do. Feeling like an idiot he pulled out the bread and the pb and j and made some quick sandwiches. Trying to make them better than just ordinary sandwiches he cut them into weird shapes. He hung his head when he realized they looked ridiculous, but knew he didn't have enough bread to make more. Feeling stupid he carried them out and set them on the plates.

Walking back inside he grabbed some strawberries and chopped them up. He took those outside too and set them in the middle of the table. Walking back inside he took a look at his feeble attempt at something even vaguely romantic. He knew he had failed, but what was he supposed to do now? Go back to Julie and pretend like he had made her sit in there like nothing?

Mentally calling him some not so great words he went inside, picked Quilly carefully up out of his crib, making sure not to wake him, and took him to the living room. He sat him in the little play gate thing he had and let him sleep there so they could watch him through the glass door if they needed to.

He took one last look outside. At least the time of day was romantic. It was just getting dark, and the sunset over the ocean was spectacular. The flames from the candles danced over the table creating tiny shadows over their food. Sighing again he walked back to their bedroom.

He opened the door slowly. "How's my favorite girl doing?" he asked.

Julie had been waiting for quite some time, so by the time Kaiden returned she was lying on her back and reading a random book she had found in the drawer of the nightstand. She tossed the boring text aside and sat up. "Um...She's kinda confused right now," she replied, looking at Kaiden inquisitively.

"I'm sorry," Kaiden replied. God he was so stupid. He was going to look like an idiot if he took her out there. "We can just stay in here being confused if you want," he said, part of him hoping that she would actually want to do just that.

"...What?" Julie asked, even more confused than before. "Kaiden, what are you talking about? What were you doing while I was in here?" She stood up and moved for the door.

Kaiden sighed. "Alright, you have to promise not to laugh, okay?" he asked, following her. He grabbed her hand as she went to walk into the living room. "And you have to shut your eyes first."
