Addisyn was walking home from her parent's house in Dian. She'd been there visiting because she loved seeing her daddy. It wasn't night time, but it was getting sorta dark, because she'd gotten caught up in whatever she and Rowan had been talking about.

She was walking kind of quickly because she had heard about the breakout from Nabakza and she didn't want to be caught out at night. Plus she was a chicken and afraid of basically everything.

So here she was, jumping at every little noise she heard, and walking quickly down Theodore Lane.

August was on a nightly stroll. Cruisin the lane like Rene did. He spotted a young girl off in the distance, smiled and walked over to her. "Aren't you a little young to be out alone at this time of night?" he asked.

Addisyn jumped when she heard a voice and then spun quickly around. She knew what the escaped men looked like and breathed a gentle sigh of relief when she realized this man wasn't one of them. She was still cautious though, because she wasn't an idiot.

"Not really," she said, trying to make herself seem a little taller. "But I've really go to be going..."

"Let me walk with you," August said. "I can protect you from anything bad."

"Er, uh, which way were you going? I wouldn't want to inconvenience you..." Addisyn said. She was getting kinda worried now.

"I'm sure I was going the same way you were," August replied. "And if not, well that's okay."

"Oh, okay..." she said. She didn't want to make the man angry, just in case he was a creep or something.

She let him walk up next to her because she didn't want to turn her back on him. Auri walked behind the man as Issy walked beside him. She really wasn't stupid.

August walked along next to her, really closely. "So, what's your name?" he asked.

"Uh, Issy," she said. She didn't want to give away her real name and no one knew her nickname except her family and friends. "How about yours?" she asked. Maybe this guy wasn't so bad after all. He seemed really nice.

"My name is August," he replied. "Like the month." He smiled, it was one of those, nice guys, but there was something creepy about them smile.

Too bad for Addisyn, she wasn't looking at his face so she didn't see his smile. "That's a nice name," she commented. It was unique, and she liked it a lot.

August slipped his arm around Issy's shoulder, "Thank you, I like your name too."

Addisyn's first reaction was to pull away, and that was exactly what she did. Then she knew she had done something wrong because the air around them suddenly changed.

"Sorry, I've got poison ivy... I wouldn't want you to catch it," she lied, probably very unconvincingly.

"I'd take my chances," August replied while narrowing his eyes. "Plus, I'm not very allergic to those plants anyway." Somehow, he manged to back Issy up into a tree, and pressed his body against her. "Don't move, don't scream, or I'll kill you, just do as I say."

Addisyn's breathing got heavy and she nodded quickly, her eyes wide. Oh no. Oh no, oh no, oh no. Gage was right! She was going to die. She had only been Overloridian for a few months, and she was already going to die!

"Good girl," August said darkly. He placed his hand on her thigh and it snaked its way up and under her skirt. He grabbed her butt and grunted, "Yeah, that's really nice."

She made a little petrified noise as his hand snaked up her skirt. What was she going to do? What if he killed her? What if he raped her?

Are you an Overloridian, or what? Auri silently snapped at her.

"Ssshhh," August shushed. "Don't be scared little girl, it'll be over soon." His fingers weaved their way into her hair, and he pulled her hair back so he could kiss her neck.

Once Auri snapped at her, she finally realized that yeah, she might be able to take this guy. She still felt like a little girl, but the truth was she was an Overloridian.

As he tilted his head and leaned over to kiss her neck she kneed him in the crotch. At the same time her knee came up, a mountain of rock rose out of the ground between his legs. The second her knee left his crotch the rocks collided with it.

She took the moments of surprise and agony to escape. The seconds his fingers left her body she took off running.

August actually grabbed his crotch and fell over, because he's a man, yeah. That probably hurt like hell, but power to ya Addie! He looked up at her while she ran, and blinked back tears. "You little bitch!" He screamed. He took the knife he always kept out of it's holster holding thingy, turned it into a liquid, and somehow managed to extend it out far enough to catch her ankle and make her fall.

Addisyn screamed when something grabbed her ankle and she fell. "HELP!" she shrieked into the darkness. But she knew she was too far away from any of the Eilemaiden for anyone to hear her.

"Let me go!" she shrieked, making a ton of rock lift from the ground and rush over to him. It flew above him and slammed down to the ground quickly, but August rolled out of the way just in time.

Addisyn quickly got to her feet and tried running again.

The pain was gone now, so August was able to stand up, He took off running after the girl, who's name he forgot and did not care about. He made another liquid metal rope, and wrapped it around her waist when he got a hold of her. He started dragging her closer. "Come back here!" he growled.

"Let me GO," she shrieked, clawing at the ground. She had the ground ripple beneath August's feet, making him lose his concentration and balance. Once his attention was off the metal, it was easy to slip out of her bonds.

Instead of running down Theodore Lane she ran left into the trees, hoping that the trunks and darkness would help keep her hidden.

August fell over again, but caught himself before he fell completely. He watched her run into the trees and swore under his breath. It would be hard to find her in there. He took off running after her anyway.

Addisyn made sure not to run in a straight line. She ran in zigzags, around trees, through thick branches, anything she could think of to lose him. She didn't dare look back.

Because it was dark, she couldn't really see everything and as she was running, she tripped on a root. She screamed when she fell, thinking it was August's metal again, but thankfully it wasn't. Unfortunately though, he probably knew where she was now.
