August heard her scream, and ran to the sound. When he found her, (I guess he wasn't that far behind from her to find her so fast) he nearly tripped on her. "Ah, there you are!" He bent down and grabbed her. He held her wrists behind her back with one hand, and the other held the knife to her throat, "You are a very bad little girl."

"Pl-please," Addisyn begged, her eyes starting to tear up. If she died, what would happen?

"I'm sorry," she whispered.

"You don't need to apologize," August whispered hotly into her ear. "Just don't run, and everything will be okay." With his one hand still holding her wrists, and the other with the knife, he used the knife and slipped it under her shirt. He made the blade facing out, and he started to cut her shirt open.

Her face twisted in disgust and she whimpered, but she didn't pull away.

Come on, Issy, fight back! Auri hissed at her. He was upset because he couldn't do anything to help. He couldn't see August's daemon so he couldn't fight back.

B-but what if he hurts me? she silently asked.

I think he's going to hurt you anyway, Addisyn, Auri said.

Addisyn's shirt at this point is totally cut down the front, but luckily she has a bra on. Shutting her eyes tightly, she lifted a rock from the road up. She did it very quietly and there was no way August could have heard it over his hot whisperings.

She brought it forward and through the trees and then let it sit above August's head for a second before dropping it.

August was about to fondle her breasts, but right about then he felt something hard and sharp hit his head. He made an 'oof' noise and fell over backwards. He was knocked unconscious.

Run, Auri ordered. Issy didn't need telling twice, the second the man hit the ground, she sprinted out of the forest and down Theodore Lane. It was dark now, and easier to hide in plain sight, plus the trees were making her slow.

When she finally got back to Adhbhar she ran to her room and locked the door. Romulus and Maya were obviously worried because they kept asking questions through the door, but she didn't respond. Instead she sat in her room crying and hyperventilating.
