"Not if you get attacked by someone else in Cuir," Julie pointed out. "Then they can just fly after you."

Keiran couldn't help but laugh, "You really don't need to worry about me Julie." It's not like your uncle would be after me anymore, we're not together. "Dahlin really isn't that bad, clio always think it's terrible because it's a city."

"I just think that all the Neutral Grounds are kind of iffy places to live, except maybe Annerb," Julie commented thoughtfully. She'd never heard of anything bad happen on Annerb Island. "How come you didn't decide to live there? Especially since you work there and everything."

Neither of them knew it, but Keiran's father got the shit beaten out of him in Annerb, and Lumi was attacked by her dear old brother there too.

Anyway, Keiran shrugged at her question. "I don't know," he replied. "I guess when we...er...living on my own sounded good, I didn't want to be near my parents."

"I can respect that," Julie replied. Once again, her mind protected her by disallowing her to see through Keiran's lie. "I didn't want to live too close to my parents either."

"Speaking of which," Keiran replied. "How are your parents?"

"They're good," Julie nodded. "Insanely enough, they're having yet another baby."

"Another one?" Keiran asked. "I bet your Dad is happy."

"They're both happy," Julie reported. "But jeez, having one kid is hard. I would never even dream of ever having seven."

"I'm sure you'll want more some day," Keiran replied. "When Quill get's older you'll miss him being a baby." He laughed a little, "But you may or may not want seven of them."
