Edwurd wasn't up to much at the moment. He had already finshed cleaning the house, Arden was gone visiting his parents or something, and the only thing that made Roburt happy was when one of the kids were visiting.

Stupid Alecis, that stupid, cheating, nasty, whore. How dare she do that to his brother? How could you do that to anyone? Or at least to somebody who treated you well. Stupid whore Alecis.

Edwurd sighed and got up from the chair he was sitting in, and went to the bedroom Roburt was staying in. He popped his head in and saw that his brother was busy looking for a knew home.

"Would you like some help?" he asked.

Roburt was looking in some kind of Amelian news paper, trying to find a new home for himself. He couldn't move back in with his parents, he was almost thirty eight years old! He could move in an apartment in Dahlin, but what he was really looking for was a good home on Annerb, that way he'd be closer to his job. But if he moved to Annerb, he might see the kids less and less because it was a bit farther away from Cuir. Then again, they both settled as Cuir, so maybe it actually wouldn't be hard for them to visit.

Thinking of the kids made him think of Alecis. All his anger was finally gone, and all he felt now was sadness. He never actually did love Alecis, but he did love her in some way. She was pretty, made him laugh, smile, he was happy. But he wasn't happy now. He sighed and put the paper aside.

Roburt looked up at his crazy haired brother. He was so glad that him and Arden allowed Roburt to live with them for a little while, until he found his own home.

"No I don't think so," he replied. "I've got a good idea of where I want to live."

Lily had decided to come visit her father. She had stayed in Cuir not because she didn't love her dad, but because it would be easier to stay with her Eilemaiden, but also because of little Sophie. It wasn't her fault that her mom was a harlot.

She knocked on her uncles door. "Oooh Uncleee Edwuuuuurd," she called.
