every family member of the smiths turned orange one day

Pattyn was busy cleaning her appartment again today. Ever since she told Noel she was pregnant she had starting working on her home. It was pretty nasty, she found one dead mouse, and a sandwhich she could have sworn was from last year. She almost took a bite out of the moldy thing but then she thought of the baby and how that might not please the little bundle of joy.

After a few days of cleaning, it still wasn't all the way clean, but she got a good majority of it done.

Noel was going to visit Pattyn today. He wanted to know how she and their baby were doing. Plus, he figured there were some things they needed to talk about. Like their future and whatnot. He'd wanted to go sooner, but she'd asked him to wait so she could clean her house. So he waited for a few days, decided he couldn't wait anymore, and went to her house.

He knocked on the door.

Pattyn stopped in midclean when she heard a knock at the door. She went to answer it, and was horrified to see that it was Noel. Her house wasn't all the way clean yet, she was wearing nasty baggy clothes, her hair was a mess, and she was pretty sure there was some kind of dirt or something on her face. Crap.

"Oh hi Noel," she said. "What brings you here...?"

"Hi Pattyn," Noel replied, not sensing her sense of horror. He let himself inside. Huh, her house wasn't too messy, but he saw lots of full garbage bags. She must really be working hard! He felt bad, like he should've helped her or something, even though she probably wouldn't have let him. "I came to see how you were doing." He put an arm around her waist, and his other hand on her tummy. "And how our baby's doing."

Aw, he was so sweet. :3 "Me and the baby are fine," Pattyn replied. "This kid makes me pee all the freakin' time though." She told him, "It's crazy!"

Noel laughed a little. "As long as you're both fine," he replied. He looked around. "Are you sure you should be doing all this work? Shouldn't you be taking it easy?" He actually didn't know, it just seemed like it would make sense for the pregnant girl to not be doing lot of work.

"Eh I'm fine," Pattyn replied. "I'm just exhausted everyday, but once this house is all clean, I'm going to sleep for a thousand days." She ran a hand through her messy hair, "I want to get this done before I get huge and can't move anymore."

"I'll take care of you when you get huge and can't move anymore," Noel assured her. "But in the meantime, don't you want some help?"

Pattyn bit her bottom lip nervously. She had gotten the house pretty clean, but what if there was something she missed? What if Noel found something nasty in her house? "Promise you wont get mad if you find something disgusting? I promise I'm cleaning! It wont be there ever again!" D:

Noel was a little taken aback. She was acting as if he'd already found something and gotten mad. "Whoa, Pattyn, calm down," Noel told her. "Why would I get mad if I found something disgusting?"

"I just don't want you to think this would be a bad place for our baby to live," Pattyn explained. "It use to be, but I promise it wont be ever again."

"Uhm, Pattyn, our baby didn't even exist back when this place was a mess," Noel pointed out. "Practically the day you found out you were pregnant you started cleaning. That's a good thing, Pattyn." He explained this all very slowly. He didn't realize that Pattyn may have just been freaking out because of all the hormones and stuff, he just thought she was being weird.

"Okay, okay good," Pattyn replied, nodding her head. "Yeah good, thanks." She stood on her tippy toes and gave him a kiss. Then she sniffled, and started crying.

Noel's eyes widened. "Pattyn!" he exclaimed worriedly, putting his hand on her shoulders. "What's wrong? Why are you crying??" Oh god he hoped she wouldn't be like this the entire nine months.

"I'm just so happy you're here!" Pattyn wailed. She wrapped her arms around him and sobbed into his chest. Eventually, she finished and wiped her eyes. "I'm sorry." She said, now she felt embarrassed.

Noel smiled when she said she was happy that he was here. "Hey, don't be sorry," he told Pattyn softly, brushing some of the hair out of her face. She was so pretty, he couldn't help but notice. "I know it's just the baby makin' you crazy." xD Way to be comforting.

Pattyn nodded, because he was right. She wiped away her tears with the back of her hand then said, "Want to see the room where our baby will sleep?"

"Of course!" Noel replied, following her. As they made their way through the house, he began to talk, almost absent-mindedly. "Hey Pattyn...if things like, end up working out between us...and stuff...maybe, you know, we could live together someday."

Believe it or not, Pattyn had actually thought the same thing. Not at that exact moment, but she had thought about it like, yesterday. "Would you really want to?" She asked him, "I mean, could you deal with me?" Finally they came into the room. It was totally empty except for three giant trash bags in the corner. "This use to be the room I just threw things in, like books, knick knacks, some food here and there...but I made sure I cleaned this room first and made it spotless so the baby could sleep here." She bit her bottom lip again, turned around and looked up at him, "What do you think?"

"With some paint and furniture, it'll be great," Noel replied. "You're not allowed to paint or move heavy things, so this you ave to let me help with." He smiled in a joking 'ha ha' sort of way, as if him getting to help was a big victory for him. "But yeah, like I was saying...Either I could move in here, or we could get our own new place together...in the future." He definitely wasn't ready to move in with her right this very moment of course. xD

Pattyn smiled, "That would make me really happy." She was talking about him moving in, not the furniture and painting part, although that would please her very much too. "Will you rub my feet when I get huge and they hurt twenty four seven?"

Noel made a reluctant face. "Do I have to?" he asked. When Pattyn frowned, he quickly added, "I mean of course! Aheh. Anything for you, baby." Ew, he had to rub her feet? Gross.

"Thank you Noooeeelll," Pattyn said, smiling. She stood on her tippy toes to kiss him again. "Did you uhm, tell your parents about me?" She knew that they knew him and her were dating, but she wasn't sure if they knew that she was pregnant.

Noel smile faded into a frown. "Yeah," he sighed. "My dad is okay with it. He said he knows I just made a mistake, and he's proud that we're keeping the baby. He even said if you ever needed to you could stay with us. My mom on the other hand went into psycho bitch mode and tried to kick me out of the house. Now she just pretends I don't exist."
