Brenna hurt herself in confusion!

Julie knocked on the door of the Bradley house and waited for someone to answer. Even though she was sure she was allowed to just go in, she decided to knock because it felt more polite or something.

Keiran had seemed like he had something on his mind lately, something important. And sure enough he had told her at some point he had something important he wanted to talk to her about. So...here she was, wondering what it could be.

Finally someone answered the door.

And it was Keiran who answered the door. He smiled when he saw Julie's beautiful face then took her hand and led her inside.

"I'm sorry you had to walk here," he said feeling bad. "I should have flown over and gotten you."

He took her into the living room, waited for her to sit first, then sat next to her.

"But anway," he said. "I...I have to talk to you..."

Keiran wrote:

"I'm sorry you had to walk here, I should have flown over and gotten you."

"It's okay," Julie replied honestly. Even though it was a long trip, she didn't mind walking to see Keiran.

Keiran wrote:

"But anyway, I...I have to talk to you..."

"About what?" Julie asked. Whatever it was it didn't sound good. What was it??

"Well," Keiran replied. "It's about us, and the baby." He stopped deciding that it sounded like he was having doubts about their relationship. "Mostly about the baby actually."

"What about the baby?" Julie asked worriedly. Had Keiran changed his mind about wanting to help raise the baby? She hoped not...

"I know no matter what I'll love this baby unconditionally so you don't have to worry about that," Keiran reassured her. "This baby," He continued, "Will never actually be mine, it will always be Kaiden's it will never have my blood." He stopped for a moment then started again, "And what if this baby will always keep that in mind? And not love me the same way I'll love it? Julie how do I become a good step father without overstepping my boundries and try to be it's real father?" Keiran had to stop again and take a breath before he finished, "What do you think I should do?"

Julie stared at Keiran for a second. He just asked her like a whole bunch of questions, none of which she had any good idea of how to answer. She felt a little bad that she hadn't been sensitive enough to Keiran's feelings to figure out that he was having these insecurities. But the problem was, she didn't really know how Keiran was supposed to be a good stepfather. She didn't even know how she was supposed to be a good mother.

"I...Keiran...I mean..." she struggled to find some words. She could at least address his first two questions. "I-I don't think blood ties will matter. I mean, as long as you show it love, I'm pretty sure it'll love you too..."

After all, Julie wasn't related to Roburt and Alecis, but she loved them as if they were family.

"I suppose," Keiran replied. "Or at least while it's still a baby, but once it get's older..."

"I'm sorry Keiran," Julie said, and she meant it. "I wish I knew what to tell you, but I don't know what's it's like to raise a child any more than you do." Though she was still pretty sure the child would love Keiran even if it got older, but it might not be the same kind of love as it would feel for its biological father. Julie didn't know.

Keiran sighed quietly. He wished Julie could have given him more, but she was just as lost as he was. This was crappy, he really wished he wasn't feeling this way. Maybe it would be better once the baby was born, maybe...hopefully.

"So," he said trying to change the subject. "It's good to know Kaiden is actually going to help now."

Julie looked down. "Yeah," she replied. She wondered if she should tell Keiran how Kaiden had kissed her...but then decided against it. It wouldn't bring any good to tell him. "I was really surprised when he showed up in that doctor's office, all excited about how the baby was doing."

"That's good," Keiran replied half smiling. "I acutally ran into him the other day."

"Really?" Julie asked. She frowned. She knew there was no way Kaiden would make even the slightest attempt to be civil with Keiran. "Let me guess. He was a total jerk to you?"

"Yep," Keiran replied. "He's really rude, and disrespecting, tried to get me to tell him things about our...well...when we had sex."

"What?" Julie exclaimed, turning a little bit red. "What did he say!?" She knew Keiran well enough to know he wouldn't have given Kaiden any details; he probably wouldn't tell him anything at all. Still, it was bad enough that Kaiden even tried to get him to. The stupid jerk.

"He asked me if I've had sex with you yet," Keiran replied. "Then he tried to tell me what it was like when he had sex with you."

Then he told her the rest of the story.

"Oh god," Julie groaned, covering her face with her hands. Kaiden was such a jackass. She uncovered her face and looked at Keiran. "I'm sorry you had to deal with him, saying things like that. He's so stupid." She shook her head.

Keiran was smiling on the inside. He got Kaiden in trouble.

"Don't worry though," he told her. "I didn't let him say anything, I told him he was disrespecting you and he actually stopped."

Julie smiled. "You're so sweet," she told him, kissing him on the lips. When she pulled back she said jokingly, "But if he tries that again, you have my permission to let him know that I think you're way better in bed than he is." (She was kidding about the permission thing, but she really did think Keiran was better.)

Keiran laughed and smiled, "Thanks Julie." He leaned forward and kissed her again but he made this kiss a longer one than the one she gave him.

Julie kissed Keiran back, reaching her arms around him. One hand rested on his back, the other ran through his hair. She sort of moved back and laid down on the couch, pulling Keiran down on top of her.

Keiran held himself up with one arm, while the other made it's way through Julie's hair. He deepened this kiss, but soon he pulled away, tugging at her bottom lip while he did it. Then his kissed her chin, and of course, her jawline, then down her neck. Once he was at her collar bone, he came back up for more of her lips.

Roburt came back in from the fields and went to his living room to crash on the couch. But when he got there, there were two horny teenagers on the couch.

"Ope!" he sort of squeaked but it was a deep squeak. "Gotta go!"

He turned around and headed back outside.

After that little interruption, Julie pulled back from Keiran, breaking their kiss. "Maybe...we should take this...to your bedroom," she said breathlessly.

"Sounds like a good idea," Keiran replied just as breathlessly.

He was a little embarrassed from his Dad coming in, but he got over it fast. He pushed himself up stood up then turned around. He bent over and put one arm around Julie's back, and the other under her knees, lifted up and carried her upstairs and to his bedroom.
